FAMILY ALLIANCE NETWORK OF FAUQUIER
FAN OF FAUQUIER collaborates with organizations to network resources for families facing crisis. Life happens! Without education, tools and support, a crisis can destroy a family. With Opioids, Trafficking, Bullying, Suicides, School Shootings and Violent Abuses facing families, a strong collaborative effort is required to solve these serious concerns.
1. EDUCATING early identification and prevention decreases stigma and raises awareness about trauma injury, trauma bonding, moral injury, coercive-control violent abuses and trauma informed red flags and interventions. Being able to put words to a situation and find options for resolution is huge.
2. FACILITATING a grass root effort to stop and prevent further damage to our children, families and communities. The gap between the isolation into a spiraling crisis and the need for emergency services and interventions, there is time to help the family members understand the situation, reframe the experience and secure resources for better outcomes.
3. WORKING with a community collaboration to find answers and build stronger communities through empowered families actively involved in a productive life.
